FROM FRASSENÉ AGORDINO direct path (CAI 771) 1.30h

From the main square of the village Frassenè Agordino walk along path 771 (departure behind the the old chairlift station) and after about 15 minutes proceed along the gravel road. You can follow the road to your destination, otherwise from Rafadora (1470 m) you can follow old ski slope.
FROM FRASSENÉ AGORDINO THROUGH DOMADORE AND MALGA LUNA (CAI 772-773) 2.00h

Departure as per the previous itinerary, however at the crossroad proceed to the left following the asphalt road that enters Val Domadore. Then the road becomes gravel and follow the signs for Malga Luna. Once you reach the Malga, proceed along path 773 which leads to the refuge in about 40 minutes.
FROM FORCELLE AURINE THROUGH PASSO DI LUNA (CAI 733-773) 2.30h

From Forcelle Aurine take path 733, which goes up the beautiful forest and in about 45 minutes leads to the wonderful panoramic point of Col di Luna. Follow the ridge up to the Luna pass and from here proceed along path 773, which leads on a slight slope to the refuge.
Getting there
Frassanè or Forcella Aurine are the two starting points to reach Rifugio SCARPA, unless you are arriving from a hut to hut hike in the Pale di San Martino. This is how to reach them.

You can reach these two villages from Fiera di Primiero or from Agordo, depending on where you are based:
from Fiera di Pirmiero: about 30 mins
Form Agordo: about 20 min
From Venice airport: about 2 hours
Parking is available at the starting point of the path or in the village.

From Fiera di Primiero/Agordo: bus n. B503 (about 40 mins)
From Venice airport: take the train to Belluno, then the bus to Agordo and then bus nr. B503. According to timetables it might take between 4 and 6 hrs
